I photograph nature less to describe it than to express what it makes us feel.

My work grows from observation, patience, and close attention to light, forms, silences, and atmospheres. I look for moments when a landscape or the animal world cease to be merely subjects and become presences.

Through my photographs, I try to create a space for contemplation. An artwork does not impose a single interpretation: it offers an encounter, an emotion, sometimes a memory or a more personal resonance.

I have been practicing photography since 1987 and founded Guillen Photo LLC in the United States in 2003.

My artistic journey has developed around fine art nature photography, through personal projects, publications, and exhibitions devoted to landscapes, wildlife, and a sensitive relationship with the natural world.
